Super strike and luster, but a couple small nicks most notably on his chin - the absolute wrong spot for nicks. That spot above the date is nearly impossible to see in hand. It is mostly a shiny spot, but there are a couple minor color blemishes. All-in-all, PCGS called it a 66 and I think they did fine at it.
The strike is Lance K. quality! This coin is VERY interesting from a grading standpoint. I can tell this thing has blazing luster, you can see the halo around the portrait. It's one of those rare instances where the 3 minor hits caused it to be bumped down.....luster didn win. I can understand the grade with the right field hit. How many of your coins have we had where luster didn't rule the grade?
