Can people still guess and get points if they are just starting or are the standings closed?

    Here are the rules

Each week, this list is averaged from the last 50 "contests". It is a rolling average. 1 and 2 are added this week and what is now 51 and 52 are removed.
You have to have entered at least 38% of the contests (usually 19) to be counted. (Yes, I raised it a bit form 1/3.)
At the 10th entry, your worst score is removed from your average.
At the 20th entry, your second worst score is removed from your average.

Believe me, I don't do all those calculations each week. Excel does.

So, yes, every vote is counted, but to be listed among on the leader board, you must have at least 19 entries.

Sorry, but I won't make it tonight. My printer died.

FWIW, do you realize that the HP wireless printer comes with a USB cord but the USB model comes without a USB cord? Anyone want to explain that one to me?

Yea, HP sucks and they load you up with gobs of bloatware.

I just picked up a Samsung wireless color laser on BF for $69. :) I own two other Samsung laser printers (corded) that have worked flawlessly for 5+ years. I paid $50 for each of them.

I had a Canon for about 5 years. Great printer and at $6 per ink set, I have few complaints. I am sure I save more on that ink than I could possibly have made up elsewhere.

Ink is a ripoff, do yourself a favor and buy a cheap laser printer. I used the "starter" toner cart on one of my Samsungs for 3 years. It was only rated for 1000 pages. The replacement cart is rated for 5000 pages.....which means the printer will probably die before I run out of toner. LOL

My kid had a nice brother printer , when that broke I figured why pay a few hundred on another printer I hardly use , my wife and him mostly used it . Darn I didn't realise they were so cheap now . Time to look into one .
