Guess The Grade 1907 D Barber Half

    Niiiiiicceeeee!!!! I'm terrible at grading MS Barbers but I think MS-64 is a safe guess and a grade that this coin could get fairly easily :)

    I'd like to have one Barber half that nice in my collection one day...
    I'm goin with 65.

    I assume the luster is quite nice and it appears to have that classic, just-dipped minty fresh look that so many like to purchase. To me this coin lives in the MS64/MS65 range.

    I could see this one in a PCGS 65 holder easy with a possible +. The small mark on the cheek and on the shield would hold it back from a 66 grade if I were one of the graders.

    Am I missing something about the obverse? I swear I can see an obvious rub on Liberty's cheek...but maybe I'm seeing things. :confused:

    Ok... Well this one had an interesting run. The standard submission to NGC resulted in a 64 grade. I thought this to be a pretty harsh grade so I cracked and submitted it to PCGS at the WFoM where it MS65'ed.

    There is a mark on the upper lip.
