Niiiiiicceeeee!!!! I'm terrible at grading MS Barbers but I think MS-64 is a safe guess and a grade that this coin could get fairly easily Thanks for posting!
I assume the luster is quite nice and it appears to have that classic, just-dipped minty fresh look that so many like to purchase. To me this coin lives in the MS64/MS65 range.
I could see this one in a PCGS 65 holder easy with a possible +. The small mark on the cheek and on the shield would hold it back from a 66 grade if I were one of the graders.
Am I missing something about the obverse? I swear I can see an obvious rub on Liberty's cheek...but maybe I'm seeing things.
Ok... Well this one had an interesting run. The standard submission to NGC resulted in a 64 grade. I thought this to be a pretty harsh grade so I cracked and submitted it to PCGS at the WFoM where it MS65'ed.
Thanks for the followup. I can't see the images on my iPad, so I'll try to come back to the thread when I've got my laptop back...
