[QUOTE="VetStudent, post: 1941382, member: 26037"]Howdy y'all, this is my first "Guess the Grade," so be kind :) I am working on a 7070 with the majority of dates being selected for paternal ancestor birth years. Lucky me, my grandfather was born in 1913 and great grandfather were born in 1885. Since my family members decided to be born on key date years and the fact that I am seeking to complete a MS (or excellent eye appeal AU) 7070, this may be a longer term project than most 7070s! I recently purchased this 1885 half dollar in an NGC slab. Yes, I carefully cracked her out for the most delicate transfer from slab to album to date. I understand your ability to 'guess the grade' is a function of photograph quality. I have limited photography skills and no special equipment. Therefore, I've done my best- posting macro photos (from a cheap Canon) and regular iPhone photos in natural lighting. There has been no editing to the photos other than cropping. Thanks for looking and guessing!
