I realize this contest is over but kindly read this post that I made last night: http://www.cointalk.com/t212922/#post1524449 Shipping an inexpensive V nickel to France or most anywhere in the world would cost at most just a few dollars by using standard shipment. If I were the OP I would actually be happier if a foreign contestant won my V nickel than if someone in the States had won. I went to my local coin shop yesterday and there was a 20 gallon bucket full of V nickels. So while they are quite common out here they may be considerably more difficult to find abroad and would probably be more appreciated by someone who lives in another country.
We have our second prize winner!! Please pm me your address and I will ship the prizes tomorrow the one roll I have is a 1955 D I just won on eBay last week
Thanks NOS I am 150% with you As a matter of fact, i am thinking to open very shortly 2 contests and i think there will be no restriction I have re read the Contests rules of CT and i understand the rules permit that ( of course i will pay the shipment to remain consistent with the motto : the winner has nothing to pay but i also underline that is also matter of personal agreement between the OP and the contester ..) IMHO, CT should be universal :welcome: to the World Citizen ( we are so small a planet since July 1969 ) Philippe ( aka Froggy ) PS Apart from Ebay, US coins are not so popular in France and we don't have gallon bucket full of US oldies and goodies !
