Hah, I did the exact same thing. Talk about juiced photography...

Since endeavor hasnt logged on since Friday evening, i guess its ok to announce the final sales price? $1114:cigar:
Which i believe is waaaaay too high considering the heritage images.
    For that $$$ ill take a non-cc 65dmpl and save atleast $200...

Which leads back to my original speculation, due to the juiced imaging, the coin sold 4 more this time around (i think)

Well - what would the ebay fees, paypal fees and insured shipping cost on an item like this? I mean from 982.30 to 1114 look - so lets just assume for simple math shipping from heritage made the total 1000 - for a $114 total gain. And that is assuming the seller bought it from heritage.

I don't know about others, but I have seen some coins go straight from Heritage to ebay with large mark ups and sell. Personally if buying that coin I like the 982 price better. Another thing is some people won't bid on heritage because of the buyers premium - it stills ends up on the coin somewhere along the way.

It can work both ways. I picked up a Lincoln proof that had gone for far too much on David Lawrence for close to half price on eBay. The seller knew he was in too deep.

The lack of returns is a far bigger issue for most buyers than the BP.

At 17.5 percent, though, my firepower is cut back at Heritage. I'm not grousing (I've gotten some good deals there) but I always have to be aware of that and bid accordingly.
