I doubt the date is correct. It looks like a copper-alloy cent to me. Weigh it and see.

 

I like the Stooges better.

 

Good job. I see them go in the $250-300+ range slabbed depending on grade. I'd guess it's a 1968 though

When I receive the coin, I'll scale it and post the weight .

 

I found a 1964-P, graded brown ms-62, for 240 bucks, that's the cheapest I could find .

 

Check past heritage recent sales too. The color on yours is nice and add a few bucks to the right guy I'd assume. Kinda surprised that coin only got 1 bid

 

Lucky me, I hope it's on a copper planchet, like Mike suggested ...

 

Sold one a year ago ms for $350.00. I should of asked more I said the price and the guy paid me no questions asked .
