BTW , the (smoking gun) pick up points for the Vams were-
1902o- die crack thru the upper TFs
1888p -bearded eagle clash
Not sure how, or if you guys could even see those in the images (nicely done)

That's not how I got them. The obverse of the 1902-O with the die crack above P in PLURIBUS was the big tell on that one. I could also just make out the crack at the point of the neck and then the crack from the top of the wheat stalk to the B in PLURIBUS.

The 1888 is just exactly how @SuperDave pegged it. The date is a normal date and is slanted and the last 8 looked a little off with the inside of the upper loop.
