Here is one for you to take a guess. This has been in my collection for about 26 years. and it was graded about 20 years ago by one of the top 4 grading companies. 1857 Obv done.jpg 1857 REV CROPPED.JPG I'll let this run until tomorrow night. Have fun.

She has a slight amount of rub. Older NGC MS 64.

I think she is AU-58 but I would not be surprised if she got MS-62.
I do not know the series well except that I like it.

I'm with the 58s. I think I see luster breaks on the obverse but I can't see any on the reverse.

Very attractive coin despite hits in right obverse field, on reverse a number of small parallel lines through the arrow's feathers. The latter may not even be visible to the naked eye. There are a few other small hits and dings that suugest some circulation.

I don't mean to nitpick, just suggesting my reasons for giving it an AU grade. A lovely coin with nice toning.

    I don't know why I typed 64. I meant a slider MS62.

This mirrors my initial impression, but I actually think it got the MS62.

A slider coin. AU 58. Could grade low MS, just as easily

I'm with MS quality, but not sure if 63 or lower.

here is the reveal.... many great guesses as AU58 and MS62 seems to be almost equivalent in the real world. I think luster prevents it from being a 63 as it is subdued. Old small ANACS holder. quarter label.JPG

Very nice coin! I was going to guess 63. I suppose the scrapes below the cap held her back.
