PS- FWIW, I sold it to a dealer who specializes in crimes, though I took a hit on the price. Edit: ROFL!!! THANKS, AUTOCORRECT!!! I sold it to a dealer who specializes in trimes. Geez. Good thing I proofread, huh? LOL (The price I got wasn't a crime, but it stung a tiny bit. 'Twas a semi-forced sale, due to some tedious working-class reason like needing brakes on my truck, or something like that.)
Shoot as it sure looks like something is going on with the 1 in the date can't tell from your images if what I'm seeing is real or something from the photo. The base of the 1 looks double as well the flag.
Been there done that....first week next month I have a dog going in for dental surgery . And you don't even want to know the low end estimate .....more or less how high it may go. With 2 dogs vet visits are never less than $500 well they have been but the $500 seems to be the norm. Oh and also need to take 2 days off from work to stay home and watch her .
They weren't my images, technically, but rather the past owner's. If I had made them personally, they'd be worse. I forget who I bought the coin from (a CU member, no doubt), but I can tell you who I sold the coin to. It would've been in 2015-ish but I guess there might be a small chance it's still in that dealer's inventory.
We have three dogs and (currently) six cats. Sweet Dixie the Border Collie mix is aging and has hip dysplasia. She won't get surgery. Nor did Old Bailey the Poodle mix get cataract surgery before he finally left us at age 14. Poof the Cat cost us money when her teeth somehow got broken and infected, and the vet couldn't save her. (But though we're po' country folk, we do keep all our critters spayed and neutered and as healthy as we can afford.)
