    There appears to be a nasty scratch behind the head and hair of Columbus.......'62. Lovely color , though.

    Yeah I see some wear...or rubs. No doubt a sweet coin but like Mike said 58-66.

    Ive got a feeling PCGS gave it a favorable grade. W that said, i would pay, all the way up to 63 $ for it, even in a 55 holder.

    I'm torn. The reverse looks really nice. Toning would give it a TPG bump. But strictly due to what looks like slight wear, it looks AU to me.

    Beauty of a coin, though!

    I was just thinking on second glance that if there is little to no luster it may have gotten a 55. Either way like you said that won't sell for AU money even with an AU grade
