Hey guys, I just got these beauties back from NGC, only took them 63 days (but who's counting). What do you guys think they graded out as? Sorry the pics are not the best, they are the NGC ones.
San Diego 65. nickel au details environmental damage Dime64 Bust half 53. tough to call especially the dime by the pics
Reveal time! too bad this thread did not get more replies. The San Diego half got MS-67! Nickel got Unc details cleaned barber dime got ms-63 bust half got au-53
Did you really need to apply marker to the slab just to hide the grade? ;-) PS: the Dime is excellent for the grade! CAC material.
I have never used cac. Do you think any of the other coins would cac? I am surprised the dime did not get a higher grade. I bought it raw but I am pretty sure it has not been dipped, with the light toning (particularly on the reverse). PS: I realized you can still read "details" on the nickel slab lol
I’d try to submit the San Diego commem and the Barber Dime via a dealer. Details coins are not eligible and the Bustie is lacking luster for the grade.
The halves have a chance at a cac sticker. I can already say no chance on the dime due to the surfaces. Congratulations on the 67 on the half
