Lol this was the one she wasn't happy about

 

I never mixed our money with coin money....and always lived by ask me no questions and...I'll tell you no lies!
And no I won't and don't lie! But did establish early on that I don't question what she spends,And won't be question on what I spend.
But will say yes there has been times when the unexpected thing or things happen and one must make good choices.
It is called life....and she over time was glad I had purchased something that could be sold and monies used for taking care of the situation at hand.
We all do what we need to do to take care of business no judgements here.... but have seen some funny scenarios amoung family and friends.
One in particular was a friends wife years ago.....I had stopped by to drop off something at a friends house.....his wife just spent a boat load on some furniture....she said to me he'll be home any minuite....so I need ask you to leave as when he gets home I plan to be naked in the bed room to break the news!
I dont believe this works for men.....that seems to be the major trick in a woman's bag of...

I looked carefully at the high points of the obverse and they have the same gleaming finish as everything else. I see no wear.

I would like to see the mark over the date more closely. It could be a tiny planchet flaw or a die scratch rather than post-strike damage.

MS65 or 66 and I would be delighted to have this.

 

64 brown.

 

The scratch above the date and overall coin surfaces result in MS 61 imho. That being said, I really like the coin at that grade.

 

I have the worst luck with buying scratched slabs.

 

I would call it MS 65 brown (toned).

Ugly ANACS but the coin is amazing.

 

Gah, I was thinking the surfaces looked matte proof but I’ve seen so many MS 1910’s that look similar I didn’t think to check the diagnostics. Very nice coin!

 

I was looking at the surface and thinking matte proof, but I tried to look at the rims and there wasn't enough resolution in the photos to sway me in that direction. I tried to see diagnostics but again I couldn't get enough resolution to tell.

I disagree strongly with 62 - based on what?? I stick to my previous statement that I would love to have it.

 

Again, one reason why I dislike ANACS are these inserts. The coin is tilted inside the slab and makes it difficult to see the rims. Guess Im spoiled with the prong type edge view inserts from NGC and PCGS. ANACS really needs to ditch these inserts.

 

+1. I thought proof at first. Couldn’t get a good look at the rims and said ms too. I’d be crossing that one to pcgs on my next order if it was mine

Anacs is terrible at gradi g cents especially when they are dark!
I have a very sweet 1916 Lincoln they gave it a 62 I have 2 dealers wanting to pay me 65 money for it....they can't believe that this specimen was given a 62....that must be the magic number for their copper grader.

At one time I was a fan of Anacs after my last submission they will never see another.... their customer service sucks!

 

And the hint was....Duh. why the GF was upset .... I'm sure it was pricy....

 

Completely agree. According to PCGS priceguide I paid about PF63 money for it, so that should be a win for me. Gonna be awhile before I send it in though.
