PCGS? Well, based on my experience with the folks in Newport Beach this year... UNC-Details - Environmental Damage. There's a fleck above Mercury's bust. UNC-Details - Damage. Stuck with cracked dies. UNC-Details - Cleaned. Or whizzed. You pick. Counterfeit - No explanation, just a body bag. Submit it again - you may get a Details grade.
You come across like you're mad because you got some bad results on your own submission. There is no need to take it out on this submitter. Chris
Not taking it out on him at all, just making light of the fact that a lot of us have had dismal luck at PCGS lately. In all seriousness, those are all quite wonderful gem mint state coins, and all outside my comfort zone. MS65ish across the board, with no dimples on the Morgans - I prefer the standard strike myself anyways.
I've had my issues with pcgs. Finally on my last submission they mostly got it right detailed a coin that deserved it I was hoping for a pass on they shot a bit low on a couple but otherwise was ok. I think they've been super tough lately tho
PCGS goes easier on voucher submissions... to make new customers happy and keep regular customers coming back. SO: MS65FB MS65 MS64 MS65+
Again, I wasn't commenting at all on the quality of the OP's coins - I was making a joke about how rough a few of us have had it at PCGS lately. The sarcasm was directed at the grader, not the gradee. A number of us have sent in coins that have gotten Details grades for questionable reasons. As said before, the Justin has an awesome collection here.
I get it. But it's been said before: You can't read humor or tongue in cheek. You can't hear the person's voice when reading something, so sometimes intent, sarcasm, etc, is missed.
