    I could be wrong, I have been wrong before and I will be wrong again.

    I don't have the OP's coin in hand so there is no way I can say anything for sure.

    I am simply saying I have found altered Morgan dollars in older PCI holders and just happened to still have one to back up what I am saying.

    Lets back up a bit. The OP coin has great cartwheel luster and is nothing like the Morgan in the gold label holder. The gold label holders are not older PCI. The green and red label holders were graded 30 years ago. New owners started using the gold label and they were a joke. The poor grading standards killed any respect the hobby had for the brand. They gave anything a 65 grade.
