First my Liberty with great die cracks and something funny by the U in United on the reverse. Toned buffalo in an old ANACS. Two new coins, different from my usual silver dollars. Thanks to @CircCam for selling me the buffalo!
I'd say both are 64's. That U on the nickel you referred to is not funny, it's part of a die crack that has not cracked, so to speak. If you look closely you can see a crack going through the top of the letters in UNITED. In fact I think every letter on the reverse has a crack going through it. That crack appears in the letters and disappears in the fields. On the obverse, the two at 4 and 5 o'clock have a small crack there. It's as if the coins is cracking up. Pardon the pun.
64 on the V nickel For the Buffalo, I can't tell if it's wear or if it's just struck that weakly - AU58 if wear - 63 if it's poorly struck. The color is very nice, but I shy away from carbon spotted coins.
Lol sorry I got caught up in school work. I don't have a picture of the slabs but here's the grades. Buffalo was 64 Liberty was 62!! Slight muted luster on obverse but the reverse is blazing with deep fields. Still has a cartwheel luster. I disagree with the grade but I'm no expert! d:
