Thanks everyone for your patience! I don’t have the coin in hand yet, as NGC is very busy, but I can at least share the photos of the coin in the slab. The Grade came out exactly as I had hoped/thought. https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/3938212-001/53/

I noticed there was a January auction that included an AU55 that sold for $1,900. https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/2822838-005/55/

After seeing photos of it, I think it’s been cleaned and possibly tooled. I’m surprised it got an AU55, but it solidifies for me that I paid a good price for mine. I think mine was a slightly weak strike with a bit of dark toning, which is why it got AU53.

Special thanks to @ma-shops for their platform where I found the coin (FYI, Künker listed it as XF). Also to @Rheingold and @micbraun for their opinions on grade and authenticity prior to my purchase, as well as for assisting with the submission. Totally worth still being on coin probation
