This afternoon I visited my LCS after work just snooping around. I decided to look at a few graded coins and stumbled upon a beautifully toned reverse. I had to have it and the price didn't set me back a bit. It is my first graded coin since I have started collecting. I figure that I owed it to you all to do a guess the grade. So here we go!

Personally, I would like it in an MS63 holder, but I agree with everyone else that it resides in an MS64 holder.

I noticed certain dates in the series are notorious for color -79s 80s 81s 85p 86p 87p 83o 84o 85o. Im guessing its because those are the most common dates and made up most of what you would find in bag quantity in the day

Ms 63. Pretty coin, and like the color a lot. Too much chatter for a 64 or higher.

Thanks everybody for the replies. I nabbed it at my local shop for just $50. To me it's one of the best purchases I have made in my first 2 years of collecting. I will hold this one from 27 to death.

Also how does one tell what year this was slab bed?
