GTG ~ Dimes

Not sure what the mark on the face is damage a planchet flaw or just a spot but it really bothered me too bad as it's a beautiful coin

Scrape on the reverse? All I see are lines at 9-10 o'clock, just left of 12 o'clock, and 1-2 o'clock; I had guessed those might be die cracks.

 

I think the 10 o clock is a scratch there's a bruise at the rim and it follows it I could be wrong not seeing in hand but that's how I read it

I got the Barber right and I don't agree with ICG on that Mercury ;-)

 

I think the Merc would cross over at PCGS. I may try that theory out yet

 

It's not that I disagree because it's ICG, some of my best coins are in ICG holders. Are the 1916 Merc's known for weak strikes?
