Let’s reveal the grade: MS65 - no FS

Many of you thought it would qualify for FS and only 1 person voted a lower grade (MS64FS). Only 5 of you voted MS65 and 22 (!) of you thought is was 65FS or even a higher grade coin. Another candidate to crack out and submit again I guess :)

I agree, but we're going by PCGS standards here. They tend to be a little loosey goosey with FSB.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I guessed 65, no FSB, and I think that is the correct grade. I don't think you'll get anything except for lost grading fees if you resubmit.

Actually if we take you at your words, you originally said that you graded it a 65 but wouldn’t be surprised to see it in a 66 holder...

So were you hedging your grade, or do you think it could grade 66?

It has nice eye-movement through it. The middle band isn't all there, so it fails on that criteria. If they don't give it at least MS66, they're blind. And I could up that one.

I’ll get high res pictures too... and there’s the thrill when waiting for the results :)

I think they blew it. I think it is definitely FSB. I got the 65 technical grade correctly, though if I were you, I would resubmit, looking for a 65+ or 66, with FSB.

You're talking PCGS standards for FSB, right? To me, they look pretty flat, so I don't think they'd qualify under NGC standards, but I did guess FSB because it was in a PCGS holder.

I see a break in the separation of bands below the 2 Red dots. Clearly not full bands. PhotoEditor_20190806_130619629.jpg

I agree, but maybe close enough for PCGS?

There’s a third break to the left of these two.

I say not good enough for PCGS
