No way would I pay MS66 for that. Edit to add - If I were looking for an 1880-CC it would be a reverse of 78. It's much more desirable than the rev of 79.
It could look better in hand, but there's no way that it should have received a 66, that's just crazy. Nevertheless, one has to be amazed by the flawless grading skills of our very own Ed.
My bet is that your own Ed conducted a search & found the coin for sale ala yours truly. The point I'm trying to make is to point out how forgiving TPGs are on hits & bag marks on CC Morgan dollars vs other Morgan dollars.
@ed wood 654 was looking for some kind of resurrection. But, as we can see he is nothing but a cheater. He still believes that his actions are acceptable. That's bad business Bud, Your a joke!
Wait so I am right, Its a 66 ? I just graded it off the pics that were posted just like every one else. I am wayyy to busy to spend time trying to find some coin on the web just to get the grade. I am actually working on possible deal in Dubai right now that would be huge payoff so why would I waste my time? I did have my head grader take a very very quick look at it during a meeting but he agreed with me. I don't mind helping people on this forum but its crazy that people think I try to find coins to figure out the grade.
Of Course, How can you have a name for yourself? What happened to Eds grade? How can you give that a 66, an in depth answer would be appreciated?
