5 bucks for any MS 66 coin is a deal. Also that would be my highest graded coin. I lied. It would be my only graded coin
One of the tenets I hold myself to is to save beautiful coins. You have done so with this you lucky sob and kudos to you. I do have many, many coins of this date, but all of mine are from circulation, so very few would rise to this height...or, would they? Most are from circ. so I don't expect them to be anywhere near high grade. The problem is...I really don't know. I also have proof sets from this year that I have yet to reach to assess. I'll get to them eventually, but so what?. I have them, they are beautiful and they are mine! ( Sounds like a song). I collect them because they are beautiful works of art, not that they are salable. Signed, Jealous of your find...Spark
No need for apology, I believe you were smitten with glee over your find and just had to post it asap. On the contrary, your score has inspired me to research my proof sets. I get inspired about 20 times a week here on CoinTalk...Spark
I finally found a nice LCS about 5 miles from the house. The only address listed is their warehouse and that's a lot further away. All of the other LCS's are not worth my time. The rudest one closed as he retired. I picked this up in my newest LCS. I was surprised to find it.
Well, the LCS (local coin shop) may very be LTD (limited) in their stock but most of them I've been to are just plain STD (standard). A few are better.
