Pickin has a great coin I want, and still hasn't made a seller's offer yet. I'm starting a new thread so I don't stomp on this great pick up he made.
I've got a damned ANACs slab that insulted me back during the summer. Not only did they not give it a MS grade, it's almost upside down in their crappy yellow slab. I think they gave it a 58 or 55. I'm having a chat with their rep at the next coin show. lol
I am sorry I upset you, but when it comes to the 1881-S dollar, there are so many nice ones that the market does not give them a great deal of respect. If you had an 1890 that looked like that, the graders would doing handsprings. The 1890 is a common date, but most of the Uncs have subdued luster and are not great eye appealing coins.
Your opinion matters. I could see someone being harsh on the coin and giving it a 64. But a 63 is preposterous, I am guessing that it happened at the time. By the way riled is much different than upset or angry. Thanks for your input Bill.
