    Yep I just don't have the experience you all do. I do have a slabbed Morgan that is MS 66 and has far fewer facial marks though.:rolleyes:

    Marks stand out more on PL-coins than on coins with regular surfaces. The “scratches“ appear to be die polish lines. Also trueviews are high resolution pictures, that’s why the hits appear to be so distracting. I am at 65PL, as the strike is pretty good and the luster superb.
