As you can see it's in an old ANACS soap box holder. Correct terminology gets an extra point and any attributions gets anther. PS I had thought I did a GTG on this already, but couldn't find it. If I missed it no peaking. The mark behind the head and the scratch towards the rim above the date are on the slab.
PF 66 cam Is this a type 2 ? I would say heavy cam but idk what that cheek splotch is- toning or un-frosted Also, is there a such thing as a Bugs Bunny proof??
I looked that over, I will try to get a close up. There looks to be a raised die scratch, just not sure that it would qualify.
They should all be FBL with a PF strike. The frostiness of the devices and therefore quality of strike determines the actual xx of grade.
And difficult it was. The coin has a heavily frosted Franklin and devices. The cheek doesn't show in hand nearly the loss of frost that the Photo shows. ANACS gave this one a PF67 HVY Cameo. I think that it is correct. The devices are much frostier and complete than any 65 or 66 that I have seen.
When this coin was graded it was likely untoned with black fields and heavy Cam. I doubt it would grade 67 with it's present toning if submitted today, especially to ANACS.
