Most of you guys nailed this one. It's in a PCGS MS-65 holder. The toning is certainly accentuated in the photos. I'm thinking about cracking it out and touching up those toning spots with a very diluted dip spot treatment. I think this would go MS-66 very easily today.

I agree. Have you checked it against VAM-36? :vulcan: (VAMpire emoji per heavy)

Is it "toning," or something related to old staples in a 2x2? I've never tried dip on those kind of artifacts; I don't know if they're actual silver sulfide toning or something else, chemically.

Has anyone else seen the tv show -
strange addictions? One episode was about a 31 yr old guy, who dated 65-80 year old women exclusively. He had special terms he used- like calling them (silver foxes), and saying they had to have platinum hair.
Anna sure looks like a silver fox, with platinum hair in the op coin.

I guess i like silver foxes, myself, when it comes to collecting. She gotta be atleast 95 yr old though, with platinum hair:)

For the chemist here. Would a citric environment work for? or against? an Iron based stain on Silver?
