I had the same thoughts as you @Lehigh96 . I thought maybe a shot at ending up in a 65 holder but thought 64 was more accurate.
I was SHOCKED when I saw the 67!! What!!?!?
I had to look twice to make sure it was the same coin.

Of course seeing high res images and seeing a coin in hand are very different, but three whole grades is a lot to mix up.

So, what is it about the coin that has the big mix up? Is the Luster in Gem?

Deep gouges all over both sides.
    Chewed up rim near IGWT.

This coin may just be an anomaly, the graders have been brutal with my submissions over the last year, especially with full steps.

Very late to the party, but kinda shocked by the grade. I would have said 64, or a not particularly solid 65

I'm not grader. I like nice coins and I have nice coins that are graded. I've got several graded nickels that I bought on ebay and they were nice, but only MS 65.
I have a 2009 (MMIX) ULTRA HIGH RELIEF GOLD COIN THAT i BOUGHT QUITE A WHILE AGO. It was one of the first gold coins that I bought. PCGS graded it MS68. I have mentioned it before. I bought it from a dealer at a great cost of $1,350. Some have recommended that I sell it and get an MS70. I like it because it has the whole box, shipping box, and the book that comes with it. I'm 75 and don't need the money, so I'll keep it.
Something else, I bought quite a few nickels several months ago. I finally took the time to look at them. Almost all of them are nice, but when I looked at some of them I found that I have some Proof-Like Nickels. I don't have a camera that would give a good picture, so I'll list them for you to see if there is something special about them:
    1953 (P), 1953 S, 1954 S, 1955(P), 1960 (P), and 1963 (P) and 1963 D
I've never looked for any references, so any help would be appreciated.
