GTG - 1974 S Eisenhower Dollar

    Picked this up this week for a great price...what do you think the grade is?

    67 assuming that scratch on the reverse is on the slab.

    '66 if the scratches I see on the reverse side are on the slab.......

    I should add I say 66 because I see just enough blemishes on the obverse to prevent giving it a 67

    If I were grading it, I'd start at MS67 and work my way down.

    I was wrong, I am man enough to admit it. Ha, ha! Then again, maybe I am just a better grader than NGC ha, ha! Then again, they had the better grading advantage.

    The funny thing about it is paddyman recently posted a photo of a 1944 D 5 center in an NGC slab that certified it as a "1944 P". So, how can we really know for sure if they are accurate on this one? Ha, ha!
