    Thanks Larry, the sad part is its value in the dansco is worth more than selling it in the slab.
    The fees for grading are higher than the specimen book value.

    If that one came back as a 66 I have a couple I am definitely going to submit.

    I am new to collecting coins and starting out small so far with pennies. I am learning some from people on this forum. My question here is on a dime how much does it cost to have one like this graded and does it increase the value enough to spend the money for grading it.

    Hi Tony and welcome to CT. This is what Paddy54 posted above. He is correct.
    Plan on $25 to $30 per coin to have them graded.

    Thanks for responding, I had some coins I was thinking about having graded but now I guess it really wouldn't pay to do that. I am sure they would grade MS something 62 to 64 I think but it still won't bring it up enough to make the value much more than cover the cost of grading.
