This will come in an ANACS old holder once I get it from GreatCollections. Identity is 1953 quarter, DDR, FS-022.2, die 1. Without looking at the number in the photo, what grade is this coin?
Looks like @KBBPLL got it, at MS63! There were a lot of guesses, though, at 64 and 62, so I'll put the percentage up: Out of 8, there was: 1 - 50 1 - 53 1- 58 2 - 62 1 - 63 2 - 64 That means the average guessed grade was just short of a 60. I do thank all of you for participating!
What did I win? A TPG job? I would be just what they're looking for. It took me less than 5 seconds to grade it correctly. One look at the obverse, MS63! Boom, done. On to the next coin.
