Pretty one... will have to say about a 65.. the grainyness of that toning makes it a lil hard to judge

Hard to tell, given blurry pictures and the toning. Looks like a 65, but hard to tell with that light level, and lack of sharp focus. Looks like a nicely toned War nickel.

Its probably much better in person, those are the sellers pics which aren't the best.

66...all that toning probably happened after slabbing. Mine looks almost as bad, at a 66. Typical silver muck toning from old ANACS.

Yes...I bought several of these olde slabs when they were new and the coins were totally brilliant. Now they look kike they sunk in a swamp. I avoid silver coins in these now. I guess it's something in the black paper that causes this. pics. Same problem with old NGC slabs, but not so bad as ANACS.

Possible MS 65 when it first went into the slab. However, I suspect the coin changed while in the slab. The toning is irregular so I don't think it was dipped before it was put in the slab but, the coin was exposed to something in the past. It could have even been stored for years in an old Whitman blue folder in a poor environment before being sent to NGC. It could have picked up something on it's surface that wasn't that noticeable when it was sent to NGC about 30 years ago.
