Yes, I truly believe the coin is a mint state piece but the heavy toning hides this and the coin was severely undergraded. Regardless, a beautiful coin, reason why I purchased it. And no, I have no plans having it regraded. Makes for a better show piece in its present holder. And you can never judge a coin from the one angle out of the many ways a coin can be seen in hand.
