GTG: 1938-D Buffalo Nickel

    Just picked this up today from a local B&M along with a few other things. But this was probably my favorite pick-up as I love gold toned Buffalo's. Let's see if you can guess the grade...

    MS -66 RPM 006 D/D well looks to be the 006 from enlarging the images .
    Can you confirm Justin ? The MM placement as well as the lower left serif.

    MS65, I think the toning hides a lot of marks.

    64, Like how the marks were under his eye makes it look like he has eyelashes.

    May be low with 64 but that is a dynamite coin.

    What you're seeing is the orange peel strike effects . Yes weak strike but even weak strikes can be very eye appealing coins.

    If I were to have it in my collection, I would be Honored. I love Gold and Yellow toned coins.
