    Yeah there isnt a horribly rare coin in the series. A few expensive ones but thats about it. Maybe this is one of the rare times an abundent supply has driven values down? And I havent seen too many complete sets outside of registries. Maybe it's too intimidating for the average collector to complete with a combination of too many coins in the series and too high of an average price per coin.

    I see quite a few full sets, in circ grades, not MS. I'm working backward on an MS set. Working now on the mintmarked late 30's. They're out there near me, and raw too.

    I'm doing the same thing with raw coins in Dansco albums. I'm full from '40 up except for several S mints. I can't bring myself to pay MS prices for a coin without Liberty's left hand.

    Goodluck. I found this one awhile back. As close to a full left hand as i have seen:
    1944 Half Dollar.jpg 1944 Half Dollar-1.jpg
    I need to re-shoot it but you can atleast see a full thumb. And 1944 phillys werent struck great either
