I will post the slab on Sunday night. I just added this one to my SLQ set. I always go for full shields when possible. I look for ones with all the rivets too, but that is just not always possible to find. I couldn't pass it up when I saw the luster. Feel free to take some guesses.
Oh, hello. A slice of German Chocolate cake in a roomful of liver. I would prefer larger images at this grade level, although these are sharp as a tack. Not FH but that's about the only thing it "isn't." PCGS has 24 of these in MS66, and if this isn't one of them, it ought to be.
Kinda hedged my bets there - I like liver. But yeah, for German Chocolate I'll do dessert as an appetizer.
It's gorgeous!! I need to add a nice example of one of these to me collection. I feel like a schmuck for not having one yet. The Mercury Dime, SLQ and WLH are my three favorite designs. Of the three though, my weakest series on grading is by far this one. My guess for this one, MS-65 not FH.
In hand this coin is remarkable. I have no other SLQ of this quality. This and the 44S Walker I posted last week were great adds for me. Thank you for all the guesses. Seems like many of you know your stuff.
