I both love and hate 1921 Peace Dollars. I love them because they are beautifully high relief and I hate them because they are often poorly struck and really hard to grade in photos. So, here is my thoughts on this coin. It looks like it has a pretty good strike for a 1921 Peace Dollar...not fully full, but good. I think the little weakness in the hair is not wear. I also know you already have an AU 1921 Peace (from a previous thread that was downgraded by PCGS) so I doubt you would own two AUs. I know that's silly logic...but I'm going to go with it. The coin has beautifully clean fields. There is a little nick on the neck on the obverse but I see what looks like a pretty good hit on the Eagle's wing on the reverse. I think that really limits the grade of an otherwise superb coin. I would call this MS65 without that hit on the wing. But with it there...I'm gonna say it limits the grade to MS63. Also, I see that one person voted AU58 so far. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it was Doug.
