    I've seen 1927-S 25c in AU58 holders that I wouldn't have graded VF. One even had a green bean! I'm still looking for one that I can afford. It's the toughest date of the whole set to find in a decent grade.

    Hah, I know, and the 1923-S is also hard to get in high grades at any reasonable price, our 1927-S is in a PCGS slab with a fair F15 on it, I'd love to get a VF or better some day. Our 1923-S is a Details VF30.
