I'm horrible with guessing Peace Dollars. I want to call it a 65, but I'm guessing it's in a 64 holder. It looks to have fabulous luster!
That's the other reason I bought it! I am gonna break up the thread a little a show you my new numismatic project. I traded this cabinet for a unique shower door. My plans are to make a coin cabinet out of it. Each drawer will be able to hold 4 trays. I haven't done the measurements yet. Bought the velvet today and have plenty of wood in the garage to build the trays. My weekend project. @Mainebill here is a Piece of Americana, The writing panel has been replaced, and so has the trim along the perimeter, trimming the legs. I traded it for this shower door, the rest of the bathroom was solely done by me, I thought it fit his Sauna/bath well.
@Beefer518 @bsowa1029 @Tater @mynamespat @MontCollector @physics-fan3.14 lest we forget the big Kahuna @GDJMSP And another Oldy. @Insider They called my grandpa 4 days older than dirt, Loved that guy, grew up two doors away.
Like the coin. At 64. A niy64 though. Like the shower door. Cabinet appears to be oak from the pics and ca 1890-1910 fitting out the drawers of it for coins is a good idea. It was how most colkectors kept their coins back then too as there was no pcgs slab boxes
I was thinking that with the new felt, I would give them a little cushion for their journey. Thanks for the era on the cabinet or desk top, it has these separators in the drawers.
If you talk to him, let him know that he should down load the photo again there must have been a glitch in the new software, I haven't talked to him since he left Cyprus.
OK. He was meeting with some higher end clients in Budapest tomorrow. I think that's what he said? I'll be sure to tell him though.
