Well my PC has much much better resolution than my old laptop. I'm in the process of having a new one but I feel pretty good about my guess
Well he has now "Edited" his first guess....well I know he doesn't guess , he just waits to see how many give a certain grade and jumps in feet first. So for now on there's" no take backs"..ALLOWED ON GTG
Clearly, he's a liar. But I think it's funny that he makes up further lies to cover his previous ones.
Okay I averaged out Ed's 4 guesses so he is locked in at 65, final answer. Answer: Have been super patient trying to find the right Peace dollar, most seem to lack eye appeal or if the eye appeal is there are just way too expensive. This one just jumped off my screen and it's every bit as good as I hoped in hand and don't feel I overpaid. The eyebrow mark isn't prominent at all, if it was slightly higher I think it would be but as is it doesn't stick out and the fields and cheek are immaculate. The luster is amazing as well. I've swayed from apathetic about Peace dollars to a pretty big fan with this one. Might be a fun set to go after someday.
Only the eyebrow keeps that one from 67 and a 10x jump in price. Even with it, it makes a case for being better than some 67's noted in Heritage results. About as well-bought a coin as you're going to see on this Forum.
I was worried about the eyebrow and a few marks on the reverse. Outside of that this is a lovely example! Nice purchase!
Thats a lovely piece, I sure am glad that Mr. Wooderson and I got it right on our first guesses. I used the yet to be made public, and future Nobel prize winning coin grading magic formula and it worked perfectly as usual.
