GTG: 1921 Peace Dollar

    No, it's a well circulated and I'm guessing it has been cleaned. I haven't put it to a loupe and good lighting yet - I received it in a set I picked up recently.

    It is non-magnetic, weighs 26.71 grams, and is 38.5mm. Devices are all in correct spots.

    The Peace Dollar is notoriously hard to grade in MS, and in circulated it gets even murkier - especially with the high relief of the 1921 since there is such a broad "touch" surface for wear.

    The devices are apparent and clear, but the detail is gone from most of the high points.

    I believe the technical grade of this coin is VF35-XF40.

    To me, looks sort of mid VF. These are tough to grade. I expect that at 35-40 you should see some luster in the protected areas.
