"Better yet, what would you DO with this one?"

Flip it over and put it back in the bolo tie.

There's a LOT more weird and unusual where this stuff came from. I guess I am kinda drawn to weird and unusual, or it is drawn to me . . . . .

Got some really interesting (nice) serious stuff too. Got LOTS of very pedestrian stuff that I am thinking of "returning to circulation" just to stimulate the next generation, baggies of no-date or almost no-date Buffalo nickels, similar grade Indian cents, etc. I just returned about $100 worth of Bicentennial coinage back into the wilde - Ike's, Kennedy's, and Washington's . . . . . .

Found my first "semi-interesting" die variety last night searching through the bins.

I'm having fun re-learning everything I didn't know in anticipation of the great "sell off."

If it was from your Dad, put it in a special holder and cherish it. If you have a child, pass it down to him/her.

I ONCE BOUGHT a coin that was encased in epoxy at a live antiques auction (i was 12 or 13 at the time..so 1978, let's say) anyways, after a few years decided to cut it out, used a hack saw, and barely nicked the coin juss a wee bit, the reverse side was an ms-68 (half dime) the obverse about a f-012...anyways sold it for around 20.00 to a fellow dealer...wish i still had her though (sigh) a great conversation piece

    Awesome zombie thread resurrection John.
I need to find this coin again and take additional photos of it out of the 2x2.

I'm in the belt buckle camp. If a bolo I would expect wear on both sides. The Obv is clearly worn and my first thought was "fake". Second thought, why would anyone counterfeit a 1921 Morgan? I hadn't noticed the different chin and lips before, so now I need to pull mine out again and look them over.

    "thanks for the work" lol
