    I looked and looked for signs of wear on the obverse high points, but didn't see any. I thought I saw wear on the high points along the eagle's wing, but couldn't say whether that was really wear or just breaks in the toning.

    As far as cleaning, I didn't see any clear evidence. The photos aren't really sharp enough to reveal hairline patches, though. And I've had several coins where I couldn't see the evidence of cleaning until it was pointed out to me, and then I couldn't not see it. (And there's still one where I never could see the evidence of cleaning, but I eventually sold that one, in its details slab.)
