66 did the unusual toning str8 grade? That happened inside the slab? He has pink hair and a blue beard. Just fabulous details.
It's my mother's birth year and I'd like one for her birth year set. I know the 1916 proofs are harder to get but with the current bid north of $3K I'm gonna pass this time.
There’s been a lot of pennies over the last six months on eBay proof 67 Indian heads some key date mean states and then you have I feel that I on all of these queens and you’ve seen prices that were elevated but the quality/Eye appeal of these coins was undeniable Most of these coins have been going for thousands of dollars over prior auction values. All put up by Mikemountainvalue. I would be surprised if this coin sells under $4000 He’s got the High eye appeal that Have just been doing really well compared to prior auction sales
His bidders seem to have deep pockets. There's been a few posts in the past year that suggests that he has been able to get straight grades from NGC on IHC and early Lincoln cents that may have been cleaned (the toning on his coins seems to be fairly consistent). I guess if he knows how to do it right without damaging the surfaces of the coins then who am I to complain. Since he's from CA I've always wondered why he doesn't send his small cents to PCGS. It makes me wonder if he'd have the same results with them. Is "market acceptable" the same between PCGS and NGC graders? In case anyone asks, yes, I've bought IHC and LWC from him and haven't had any complaints.
