GTG - 1916-D Walking Liberty Half

    I am thinking of purchasing this 1916-D walker, but before I bite the dust, I wonder if i can get an opinion of grade and what you Walking Liberty gents. might pay for this particular coin. 1916-D W-L Half Rev.jpg 1916-D (Obv) W-L Half.jpg

    AU-50, could be a weak strike though and the wear is less than it seems. Maybe an AU-53 in that case.

    It's hard to tell from the images, but what they do show is still quite a bit of luster left. I think there is a combination original grime, circulation and weakness of strike making this look worse than it probably really is. If I was rolling the dice buying this off of just these images, I would buy it for XF-45 money, yet hope it was AU-53 in hand. It looks like it could be as high as AU-53 in my opinion.
