    So, that means it should get about 100 times the price of a similar-grade 1916-D dime, right? Right?

    Yeah, yeah, but I'd sure rather have this coin than a similarly-priced AG details 1916-D dime...

    I'll never understand prices of 20th century "key" dates but then again I don't think I'll ever be a set collector so won't ever have to take the plunge and don't judge those that do have to to finish a set! Just the way it is I suppose but yeah I prefer other uses for the same funds.

    Great coin again @ldhair I bought my first Liberty nickel this week also a proof from the Heritage Auction. I'm excited to get it in like 3-4 weeks lol

    In this picture, it looks completely like a proof. In the original pictures, it looked a bit lusterless. That is why I did not think “proof,” based on the OP’s op.

    I was being evil when I posted this coin. When you shoot these straight on, it's easy to miss that it's a proof. @ToughCOINS caught it first but was kind enough to not give it away.

    I was gonna guess MS 64 (well struck!) before I saw the reveal. Nice proof.
