The differences in strike are obvious, but honestly strike is one of the least significant factors in grading. A weak strike may prevent a 67, and may be a negative against a 66 grade, but won't prevent a 65 or 65+. I'm just not seeing enough contact marks here for a 64. And especially with the bright luster, which can help bump up a coin. Maybe my 65+ was optimistic, but I don't see why its only 64.
I would have purchased this as a 64 RB all day long and maybe purchased it as a 65 RB. But I don't think I'd buy it as a 64 RD. I gave my assessment as a 65 RB earlier and I'm still satisfied with that. Interesting set of opinions on this coin.
