    Technically EF-40+ details with a harsh cleaning/polishing, I could see NGC bumping it up to AU details. They do that all of the time with details coins. Doesn't make it any better or valuable than it is, though people who buy the slabs and not the coin don't know the difference.

    I hope it is just your pictures, but it still sure looks like a heavily polished EF-40/45. If that is how the coin looks in real life, then ANACS was wrong. I would NEVER buy this coin as problem-free from the pictures.
