@jwitten want to kick this one off or perhaps @ToughCOINS may chime in?
I'll embarrass myself....
64, or a 63 CAC is my guess.
Pretty nice looking coin, but . . . Genuine, UNC Details . . . cleaned.
Not my specialty, but I like it! I can see what @ToughCOINS is seeing. The first picture makes it looked cleaned to me. BUT I know sometimes harsh lighting can also do that, so I am going to guess it straight graded MS63. I am terrible at grading coins that I do not focus on though, for what it's worth! lol
The plot thickens!
The areas around the devices do look kinda weird, especially in the overexposed reverse shot.
My WAG... 62?
Good eye @ToughCOINS I received it back and was surprised by the Alt Surface details. I did not notice it at first but you did!
I wonder if it was puttied? You can see the white haze on most of the surfaces, with the natural luster still remaining around the raised areas.
Anyone expert on fake double eagles?
Surfaces look a little hazy to me, particularly the reverse fields.
