I had zero concerns for the Lincoln. The Indian I thought was passable, but wasn't 100% sure.

The rest of the order, however, was GOLDEN.

A spot of toning. And no, they never note clashes. Not even if you ask nicely. Also, the both got Questionable Color, no grades.

The IHC I felt had questionable color. But the Lincoln looked fine to me - I'd have given it a 65 or 66!

I can accept the 04, I think you were robbed on the 16.

On the tough lately part: I was looking at some 05 Liberty V nickels a few months ago and found two that were both slabbed by one of the popular services, one @ 40
the other @55. You could have swapped the coins and the grading would have been much closer to correct. I bid on the 40 hoping it would go for a high 40 price. The winner paid Au book. I realize a few slip through cracks and that graders can have a bad day but if you are paying for a service something like this hurts on a common piece and is devastating when it happens on a rare piece.

PCGS has always been fun with red and RB cents. They can be a bit picky.

Could it be the slight wood grain effect on the '16 obverse that caught their eye?
