I bought it from a coin shop last year when I was young and naive. (Okay, not so young). I am slightly more educated now, thanks to @GDJMSP and other helpful folks here. He sold it to me as a "BU" but didn't recognize it as his own coin. He said it wasn't "BU" as marked on the 2x2 but 'AU' and offered me $46 for it. Since I paid $50 for it, I wasn't going to complain. Due to the scratches and lack of luster, I tend to think that AU details is about right. Thanks to all who contributed.
